Yankton Baseball

Dear players and parents,

Registration for the Yankton Baseball Association, Inc. high school and summer teams will be held online starting Monday November 13th, 2023 until Monday, 20st, 2023. All players will need to pay a $100 non-refundable deposit at the time of registration. This will essentially be the cost of the calendar raffles which can be sold to others then you keep the money collected.

Registration and Fees:

Early registration is implemented to allow YBA ample time to determine how many teams there will be, hire coaches, schedule games and finalize budgets.

$100 non-refundable deposit, is included in the fee, due at the time of registration. Calendar raffle fundraising will be mailed out or hand them out at parents meeting. You can choose to sell the tickets and keep the money or keep them for yourself and have a chance to win a raffle drawing.

High School - $395 (current Sophomores-Seniors)

                           - $225 (current Freshmen)

Summer 13-18 year old - $645 (age as of January 1, 2024)

Both High School & Summer -  $940 (current Sophomores-Seniors)

                                                                -   $865 (current Freshmen)

For families with multiple players, a 20% discount will be given

PAY ONLINE IN FULL: Submit total fees online today upon conclusion of this registration session via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account. Payment a plans of 2 - 4 installments (day of registration, 2/18/24, 3/18/24and 4/18/24) are available for the online option.

PAYMENT PLAN A:  Fees are divided into 2 installments with the first installment  to be collected online today upon conclusion of this registration session via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account. The remaining balance will be automatically debited from the SAME ACCOUNT on 2/18/24.

PAYMENT PLAN B:  Fees are divided into 3 installments with the first installment  to be collected online today upon conclusion of this registration session via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account. The remaining balance will be automatically debited from the SAME ACCOUNT on 2/18/24 and 03/18/24.

PAYMENT PLAN C:  Fees are divided into 4 installments with the first installment  to be collected online today upon conclusion of this registration session via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account. The remaining balance will be automatically debited from the SAME ACCOUNT on 2/18/24, 3/18/24 and 4/18/24.

PAY OFFLINE IN FULL:  Submit total fees upon conclusion of this registration session offline via cash or check. The offline $100 fee needs to be paid 15 days after the registration date. Final payment will be made in full  by Sunday, February 28th .  An invoice will be send out via email for the final payment. We will NOT ACCEPT more than 2 payments ($100 + Final Payment).  Please make checks out to Yankton Baseball Association and send it to PO Box 299. 

If you wish to use a different account to pay the balance, please log in to your SportsEngine account BEFORE the first day of payment to update  your account information.

ALL FEES TO BE PAID BEFORE PLAYER WILL BE ALLOWED TO PLAY IN GAME

$50 late fee may be assessed to fees not received by the date due. Any registrations received after the stated deadline needs to be approved by a majority of the board.

For first year player, a copy of birth certificate is needed along with registration form.

Any player that needs financial assistance are encouraged to contact us at yanktonbaseballassociation.com about the United Way Scholarship Program.

A scholarship program is available for developmental league participants needing financial assistance. YBA partners with the Connecting Kids program through the United Way & Volunteer Services of Greater Yankton to offer this assistance to those CURRENTLY in 13U - 18U. Participants with special circumstances may apply for a scholarship. Scholarship applications must be approved by the board.  Scholarships are not available after the registration deadline.

After the approval of the YBA board and all the registration fees have been received, the YBA will credit the scholarship to the participants. If the scholarship doesn't meet the needs of the applicant, the YBA will determine additional assistance.  NO player will participate until all the requirements are met. 

If you are registering more than one player in your family, you will receive a 20% discount registration fee.  In order for the registration system to recognize that you are registering multiple players, please register all of your players at this time.  On the Review Page, there is a link near the bottom to "Register Another Player" - please click on this link to ensure that all of your players are registered within the same order.
